The Last Roll Call

Nearly 500 Sirius College students, staff, alumni and parents attended the 2020 Last Roll Call. This is the annual Sirius College event where recently graduated alumni come back to share what steps they've decided to take after secondary school.

Before the event, students were asked to submit questions they wanted to ask the alumni. Over 100 questions were submitted. Three alum took to the stage to answer the most asked questions, such as how to manage pressure from parents, how to do well in English and how to maintain mental wellbeing. They shared examples from their own lives and emphasised the importance of being proactive during VCE years.

All Year 10 and Year 12 students from all campuses attended this annual event. They listened to keynote speaker, Tarang Chawla, an accomplished professional, lawyer, media commentator and community advocate, who shared the importance of figuring out what path you wanted to take and what difference you wanted to make.

After the event, students were asked to share their opinions about the event. 76.3% of students said they left the event feeling motivated and wanted to remain connected to Sirius College even after they graduated.
